Yes, you can absolutely set your own custom rates! However, there are a few important things you should keep in mind when doing so.
Setting the right price can mean the difference between getting a steady flow of reservations or none at all. Our rate suggestions are based on competitive parking rates in your area and are there to help you make the most money. At the same time, we recognize that you know things about your listing and neighborhood that we don’t. You might have the top secret scoop on why Guests would be willing to pay more, or less, than our suggested rates, and we want to give you the freedom to have control over your listing. That’s why we give you the ability to set your own rates.
If you do decide to set your own rates, we recommend taking a little time to see what nearby parking lots are charging and using that as a basis for your rates. For example, If you live near a popular destination and the nearby lots usually fill up fast, you can probably charge a little more than they are charging. If the lots don’t always fill up and your space requires Guests to walk a little further to get to the destination in the area, you may want to consider setting your rates a little lower to attract more Guests.
