Absolutely. If you would like to have the chance to approve incoming reservation requests, keep “Auto-Accept Reservations” switched off. You can edit this setting in the Manage Listings section of the app or website.
With this setting off, Guests will not be able to reserve your space without your approval. This means you will have the opportunity to view the Guest’s profile and see when they want to park before deciding whether you want to approve or decline the request. Keep in mind that listings with Auto-Approve turned off will only be visible to Guests looking for parking at least an hour and a half in advance.
If you do decide that you want to review all reservation requests, make sure to have your notifications turned on and that you monitor them regularly. You want to respond to your requests as soon as possible so that your Guest has a positive experience. Ignoring reservation requests from Guests can lead to a decrease in your Host status and your earnings!
